Takesure Tozooneyi is a research professional with over 5 years of research experience in quantitative and qualitative research design, and evaluation of wildlife, agriculture, livelihoods, environment, education, and renewable energy programs for organizations like UNDP, WWF, EA, APRA, ZADT, Higherlife etc.
Takesure is conversant with a myriad of statistical packages (including SPSS, STATA, R, Gephi & QGIS) and different field methods including facilitating focus group discussions and key informant interviews, conducting Participatory Rapid Appraisal (PRA) and Case Studies, coordinating longitudinal surveys, facilitating After Action Reviews (AAR) and conducting document reviews. He has worked in a multi-cultural environment and understands organizational and technological strategies to enhance accuracy and quality of data. Takesure has outstanding interpersonal communication skills and believes in continuous improvement and prudence. Through these field methods, Takesure has learnt how to: clarify questions
and probe recall responses to assess their reliability, modify questions to suit the context under study, select sites for study and co-authoring case study reports. Takesure is also skilled in writing concept notes, write project proposals, data cleaning, transcribing, analysis and report writing. He has experience in designing tablet or mobile-based data collection setups (including ODK & CAPI).
